Erickson Marine's 12th Annual Formula Rendezvous

Minnesota Formula dealership Erickson Marine held its 12th annual Formula Rendezvous August 22-24, 2008, with 32 Formulas. The theme for the weekend was "Pirates of the Mississippi." The pirates arrived from all over and were in abundance—the outfits were spectacular to view!

On Friday during registration, each participant was greeted on the dock at the marina with a beach towel and t-shirt, as well as a schedule full of fun for the weekend! After everyone had settled in, they ventured to the Treasure Island Resort and Casino cruise ship, Spirit of the Water. An excellent meal was prepared for the owners, and great music was provided by the band The Stalls.

The next morning the participants enjoyed a great breakfast, then headed down on Lake Pepin for some boating relaxation. The convoy of Formulas was a site to see—many had pirate flags aboard. After the crew rafted on the lake, an array of hors d'oeuvres was served amid conversation, boating and relaxation. Then it was time for a night of fun.
