Joe Clawges, President of SunDance Marine, announced today that SunDance Marine will begin representing the complete line of Formula Boats, Decatur, Indiana, in all its’ South Florida locations.

“We are extremely proud and pleased to have reached this agreement with one of the finest boat manufacturers in the world,” Joe indicated. “Formula boats and yachts have always been at the leading edge of product development, and their reputation for dependability and performance is legendary.”

Rich Clawges, Corporate General Manager of SunDance Marine, went on to say, “Formula’s product line is a perfect match for SunDance...they offer a wide variety of super-sport, cruisers, bowriders and yachts with exceptional quality and performance and, coupled with other product lines, we think we now offer our customers the widest selection of products to meet their needs and desires. It’s a perfect match.”

SunDance Marine, already the largest dealer of two other lines in North America, hopes to become the largest Formula Dealer in North America as well. “Our customers have asked us to expand our product mix and we’ve spent a lot of time and effort searching for the best complementary product line out there,” said Steve Diener, General Sales Manager for SunDance. After months of research, speaking with dealers throughout the country and evaluating market trends, it became apparent that Formula was the best opportunity for us here in South Florida.”

Steve went on to say, “We attended Formula’s recent dealer meeting, and to be honest, spent most of our time talking to Formula Dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada. We wanted first hand knowledge of Formula’s commitment to their dealers and the future.”

“We’ve talked with representatives of Formula of course, but we wanted to speak to the guys that are representing the product on the retail level. We also wanted to be sure that Formula’s commitment to the future, both from a product development standpoint and marketing direction, fit with our needs and goals.”

SunDance operates dealerships in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Stuart/Jensen Beach.

A major introduction of Formula boats and yachts is scheduled at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show at the end of October.
