A Formula Fan for Life

I owned a boat before I owned my first car. I bought an eight-foot Jon Boat with a Montgomery Ward 3 HP outboard with my allowance money at 12 years old. We had a cottage on Lake James near Angola, Indiana, where I was born.

So effectively, I have been boating for 41 years. During that time I have owned 13 boats, the last two, my most cherished---a 2006 Formula 37 PC and a 2007 Formula 260 SS.

We currently boat on Lake Cumberland in Southern Kentucky. My wife Maryann and I intend to retire during the summer months on our 37. I have boated on Lake Cumberland for 23 years. Our second son was two months old when we bought our first live-aboard.

I have been thoroughly impressed with Formula, not just the boats, but also the people. I am proud that the boat is built in my home state of Indiana.
