Detlefsen's Moving Full-Speed Ahead on Their Formula FAS3TECH®

It seems to me that in today's world we hear more about things gone wrong than things gone right. I would like to tell you about things gone right. I have been a dedicated Formula owner since 1995. I started with a new 271 and later traded up to a new 312, purchased from South Austin Marine II, Austin, Texas, and I have enjoyed a lasting professional and personal relationship with them. I always look forward to receiving the annual catalogs. This year, my eyes fell upon the graphics package called "Acceleration" offered on the FAS3Tech® models. That feeling of "gotsta have it" came over me as I showed the pictures to the rest of my family members.

Jumping forward---we took delivery of our new FAS3TECH two weeks ago. Once again, owner Kenneth Black guided me through the buying process. His business ethic is professional without pressure. He never pushed us, always ending our conversations with "I will take good care of you if you buy from South Austin Marine II." I made the decision to buy and when the boat and trailer were delivered, the service manager, Brian, began to work his make-ready magic. Although Brian is a busy man, he took time to keep me informed and at the appointed hour, I arrived to find the boat ready to go. As I was leaving, Brian said, "Let me know if any problems arise. We will take good care of you."

Within a few days, we were completing our shake down cruise and a couple of adjustment/electrical issues appeared. I contacted Brian, who told me that he would arrange to have a technician meet me on the water at my convenience. Technician Jason drove to me at the launch ramp, on time and looking professional. I am thinking, "How cool is this?" Jason introduced himself and offered to assist me in launching the boat. Jason addressed my concerns and took the time to review owner operation/maintenance information with me. The tasks were completed, and as Jason was leaving, he said to me, "Let us know if you have any problems; we will take care of you." As I drove home, with the boat in tow, I thought, "Imagine that, Sunday afternoon and I have experienced on-the-water boat service--this is just too good!"

I am sharing this experience with you to let you know that your product/dealer has a first-class reputation in my community. I hope you will commend Kenneth, Brian, Jason, Duane and all the other staff members for the high-level of customer service that I have enjoyed. Hats off to South Austin Marine II.
