Tubb's '78 233 Formula

This is a 1978 233 that I bought about 14 years ago and restored. 350 Chevrolets rebuilt with forged pistons, Dart high-performance heads, stainless marine exhaust, and Edlebrock torque intake manifold spinning labbed Mercury Thunderbolt props power it. The boat runs in the mid 60s all the time and is reliable. I would not hesitate to run it over 50 mph from Port Huron to Mackinaw.

I run the boat on Lake Huron, and it’s perfect for the open water---solid as a rock. What a great design!

Sincerely,

Dave Tubbs
