Robertson’s Marine, Formula’s Utah dealership, recently hosted a Formula-exclusive rendezvous August 17-19, 2007, on beautiful Lake Powell, described by many as a “jewel in the desert.” The lake is over 140 miles long and has more shoreline than the entire west coast of the United States. With its unique rock formations and high canyon walls, there’s no place like it.

The Formula Rendezvous was held at Antelope Point Marina, anchored at the “largest floating platform in the United States.” Antelope Point’s unique restaurant and marina store gave a new meaning to the word “rendezvous.” With 11 Formulas and over 50 boaters, it was a head-turning experience.

The festivities began on Friday with a party at the restaurant and traditional island music playing in the background. Formula owners took this opportunity to make new friends and listen to all types of Formula boating adventures.

On Saturday the day was spent enjoying the awesome body of water on Lake Powell, enjoying boating, swimming, water-skiing and time on the ski-tube. Later that afternoon, groups rafted up for lunch while others continued to play in the sun and water. A prime rib and salmon dinner greeted everyone as they returned to Antelope Point Marina—it was quite a feast. The setting was perfect and atmosphere was fantastic as the band played on into the night. New friendships and plans to get together soon were made!
