The MacConnell's 1973 F260-C

I found her on Cape Cod in January 2009. She had twin ford 302's that needed a lot of help. Now has twin new Mercruiser 5.7L TKS's with Alpha outdrives. I have completely stripped of 30 years of bottom paint to find an almost perfect hull. 3 coats of black Hydrocoat later it looks great. All wood has been removed, sanded, and teak oiled with numerous coats. The galley counter has been redone. The original Ritchie compass has been rebuilt by Ritchie. Raymarine A70D GPS/Depth and Ray218 VHF with second station in the cabin have been installed along with a Dual stereo/Bose system. The carpets have been replaced in the cuddy and head and all the cushions have been redone with a vinyl rather than the regular upholstery. All the wiring has been reworked. All new gauges on the dash. The Bennett trim system needed just a little fluid. I rebuilt the fresh water system. Everything works great. This is a great boat. The hull design is incredible. She plains quickly and now can exceed 50 knots. Even in rough water you don't get wet. This is one remarkable boat for 37 years old.
