DECATUR, IN—This new Formula FAS3TECH will conquer the waters with its exciting features and thrilling deep-V performance. The 292FAS3TECH measures 29 feet, 2 inches, and is engineered with Formula’s state-of-the-art FAS3Tech hull configuration, which provides an increase in speed, structure and stability from a conventional deep-V hull with identical weight and power.
A tinted, tempered, curved glass windshield and integrated swim platform with concealed stainless steel swim ladder enhance the 292’s exterior. At the helm, the cockpit features the designed McLeod® electric-assist offshore-style bolsters, as well as a Dino™ steering wheel with tilt helm, dual-position footrests and Livorsi® Monster and Redline domed backlit instrumentation with polished chrome bezels. Livorsi® trim-in-the-handle Shifters/throttles, Ritchie compass, digital depth sounder and an E-T-A® circuit breaker panel, which eliminates the need for fuses, are also standard features on this offshore performer. Sizzling Imron® graphic choices are available in many different designs and exciting color combinations. The aft lounge offers generous seating for four, while the sun pad creates enough room for several more to relax and sunbathe. A fume detector, automatic fire extinguisher, bilge high-water alarm, automatic bilge pump and courtesy lighting are standard safety features, plus the race-style engine mounts are thru-bolted for absolute security.
Through the curved plexiglass sliding door, Ultraleather™ cabin lounge seating is ideal for relaxing and entertaining. Standard appointments below deck include a comfortable bow berth and coordinating decor pillows. The entertainment center with round stainless sink offers a water system, Kenwood® AM/FM/CD stereo with high power output and two 6½” marine-grade speakers in the cabin as well as two 6½” speakers and a dash-mounted multi-feature stereo remote control in the cockpit. A Kenwood 10-disc CD changer with iPod docking station upgrade to the option are also available on the 292, satisfying the stereo enthusiast. Indirect cabin lighting, twin cabin hatches and concealed portable head provide a comfortable retreat below.
Engine choices for the 292 are available from Mercury MerCruiser ranging from 300-to 320-horspower. Chemical bonding of the deck and hull, and the thru-bolting with backing plates will ensure lasting structural integrity on the boat.
