DECATUR, IN—The Formula 382 FAS3TECH is a true offshore performer, featuring Formula’s state-of-the-art FAS3TECH hull configuration, designed to optimize speed and fine-tune stability. The FAS3TECH hull increases speed by 5 to 7 miles per hour over the former deep-V hull with identical weight and power.
With an 8’3″ beam, the 38’2″ FAS3TECH features a beautiful curved glass windshield, integrated swim platform McLeod® offshore style bolsters with electric assist adjustment as standard. For even more personalized ergonomics, individual switches position the footrests, ensuring comfort for both driver and passenger. Four additional passengers ride safely and comfortably on the lounge seat aft, and the large sun pad does double-duty as the engine hatch over the twin MerCruiser installation.
The cabin is entered through a curved, tinted plexiglass door, which slides smoothly behind the port dash. True to Formula styling, the cabin is exceptionally roomy, well-lit and comfortable. The curved lounge seating is luxuriously upholstered in UltraLeather™. A unique cocktail table with cup holders is a nice addition for refreshments. The plush bow berth sleeps two, and the privacy curtains hide away behind beautifully curved sidewalls. The lounge sleeps two more by adding custom filler cushions.
Other impressive cabin features include a beautiful entertainment center with Kenwood® AM/FM/CD stereo with a 10 disc CD changer and an iPod docking station as well as a remote controlled 15″ LCD TV, DVD player, cable and phone. Opposite the entertainment center is the polished stainless sink, trash receptacle and refrigerator. A private head compartment of smooth, molded fiberglass includes a portable unit and venting fan as standard.
The fully equipped engine room is sure to impress anyone interested in high performance. The list of standard equipment includes courtesy lighting, fume detector, automatic fire extinguisher, starting battery with battery retainers, automatic bilge pump and bilge high water alarm. Mercury Racing K-planes, external stainless steel tie bar, stainless steel 4-blade prop and CORSA’s® polished stainless steel exhaust system with silencer tips completes the elite equipment package.
